Let me tell you about NLP. NLP stands for Natural Language Processing. It’s a form of AI that recognizes, understands, analyzes and emulates how humans communicate using either speech or written text or both.

NLP has powerful use-cases in consumer research, performance marketing and customer service. Let’s dig in deeper…

  • Social Listening - It uses NLP to provide sentiment analysis. In other words, it analyzes customer reviews and social media posts about a brand to gauge the customer sentiment and categorizes them as positive, negative or neutral.

  • Conversational AI Advertising - This form of paid social ads enhances the user experience by taking the user to a brand chatbot instead of a landing page. These chatbots are powered by NLP.

  • Customer Service - Chatbots are used across the industry for customer service. Voice-bots are expected to find increasing adoption in this realm too. NLP forms the foundational technology for such chatbots and voice-bots.

The AI chatter needs to go beyond Gen AI. There’s a lot more to this realm than meets the eye. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
