As someone who has done extensive work in Conversational AI and Generative AI since early 2022, I believe it’s essential to emphasize on AI use-cases that go beyond individual productivity and automated content.

Let’s look at some use-cases that are relevant at the enterprise level:

  • AI-driven Conversational Advertising: Display and Paid Social advertising can now deploy the power of Conversational AI to deliver a more engaged user experience that drives growth.

  • PPC and Paid Social Automation: Google’s search ecosystem has Performance Max and Meta has Advantage+. PMax and Advantage+ are AI-powered solutions that have the power to automate and optimize performance marketing campaigns.

  • Hyper-personalized Marketing Automation: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Marketing Cloud and other major Marketing Automation ecosystems will increasingly use Gen AI to deliver a hyper-personalized user experience to drive revenue via improved retention techniques.

  • Insight Mining in Social Listening: Social Listening tools like Sprinklr, Meltwater, etc. are now deploying Gen AI to mine actionable insights from social listening data.

  • Customer Service via Voice-bots: While chatbots have been in use for customer service for a long time, there will be an increasing adoption of voice-bots for pre-sales and post-sales customer interactions.

  • Retail & eCommerce Demand Forecasting: Predictive AI can be deployed for improved demand forecasting, production planning and distribution.

  • Brand Guidelines Adherence: Ticketing systems deployed by global brands for ensuring collateral adherence to brand guidelines can now deploy AI-powered systems for faster adherence checks.

The things I’ve mentioned here are just some of the use-cases of AI at the enterprise level.

If you’re a mid-senior or senior Marketing professional reading this, I urge you to look beyond the flimsy narrative that’s being spread on LinkedIn. This flimsy narrative often emanates from those who lack a substantial body of work in AI & Marketing. All in all, keep away from myopia and misinformation.
